WHAT TO EXPECT

Practical, Grounded, Real-Life Tools

We build systems for your real life — not your imagined ideal self.

We don't just talk about ideas. We build real, usable systems — for time, energy, tasks, communication, and daily life. Things you can actually use between sessions.

This isn't theoretical coaching. It's deeply practical — rooted in executive function support, capacity-based planning, and burnout recovery. We work with sensory and nervous system awareness, task initiation strategies, sustainable routines, environmental design, communication scaffolding, and emotional regulation tools.

HOW SESSIONS WORK

Every session is different, because every person is different.

Before Your Session

You don't have to do anything special to prepare. But if it helps, you might ask yourself: What's on my mind right now? What do I want to focus on today? If you have a lot going on and can't think of anything specific, that's okay too. We'll figure it out together.

During Your Session

Sessions are typically 50–60 minutes. We might explore a challenge, celebrate something that went well, work through a decision, or just think out loud. Sometimes sessions feel energizing and clear. Sometimes they feel a little tangled — and that's okay. The tangles are often where the good stuff is hiding.

Here's the general shape of a session.

  1. 1.Check in — How are you? What's on your mind? What's alive for you today? What feels most important to focus on?
  2. 2.Explore — We dig into whatever's alive for you. I ask questions. You think out loud. We notice patterns, challenge assumptions, and find clarity.
  3. 3.Move forward — We identify what you want to do next — not a homework assignment, but something that feels true and doable.

After Your Session

You might feel energized, reflective, or a little tired — all of that is normal. Some people like to jot down notes while things are fresh. Others prefer to just let it settle. Between sessions, there's no pressure to 'do' anything specific — though if you want to, we can create some gentle experiments or next steps together.

SESSION FREQUENCY

We'll find a rhythm that works for you.

No one-size-fits-all here.

Most clients meet bi-weekly (every two weeks), though we can adjust based on what works best for your life, your capacity, and your goals. There's no one-size-fits-all schedule here — we'll figure it out together.

THE ARC OF COACHING

Coaching is a journey.

Here's what the road might look like.

Every journey is different — and that's the point.

The first few sessions are about getting to know each other and getting clear on what you want. It's normal to feel a little uncertain at first. There's no right way to do coaching. We'll find your way.

Over time, you'll start to notice things. Patterns you hadn't seen before. Strengths you'd forgotten about. New ways of thinking about old problems. Coaching tends to build on itself — each session opens up a little more space.

Some clients come in with a specific goal. Others are more exploratory. Both are completely valid. Progress isn't always linear. Sometimes you'll have a breakthrough. Sometimes the shift is so subtle you almost miss it — until one day you realize things feel different.

Coaching relationships have a natural arc. When the time comes to wrap up, we'll do it intentionally — celebrating how far you've come and making sure you feel equipped to keep going on your own. And if life brings you back to coaching later, the door is always open.

Free Consultation

What happens in a free consultation

A free consultation is a 30-minute video call. It's low-key, warm, and completely pressure-free.

We might talk about:

  • what's going on for you right now
  • what you're hoping support might look like
  • how I work and what coaching with me feels like
  • whether this feels like a good fit
  • any questions you have

You don't have to have it figured out. You don't have to know what you need. You just have to show up.

Accessibility

Accessibility and accommodations

I'm committed to making this space as accessible as possible. If you have accessibility needs, communication preferences, or accommodations that would help you feel more comfortable, please let me know. I'll do my best to meet you where you are.

Some things I can offer:

  • asynchronous communication (email, voice messages)
  • flexible session formats
  • camera-off options
  • written summaries and notes
  • pacing that respects your energy
  • payment plans

If there's something specific you need that isn't listed here, just ask. I'd rather know than guess.

Wherever you are in your process, you're welcome here.

You deserve support that honors your nervous system, your energy, and the way your brain actually works.
